Custom Hive Charm

People have been adorning and charming their bee hives for as long as humans have made houses for bees! While made with the vision of carrying along this tradition, these small talismans could just as easily charm a door, a wall, or altar space. These hive charms are a gesture towards remembering that gorgeous old-time way of adorning that Martín describes so well.

Each copper cut-out is handmade, the dimensions are around 3”x3” or 5"x2”. The pieces come pre-punched with holes, so that you can easily and sturdily nail them to the wood of the hive—the copper is quite thin and bendable without backing. Copper nails are included!
