Custom Treasure Box

One of a kind hand-built box adorned with embossed copper, with imagery of your choosing. The boxes in the photo are simply to give inspiration, you do not need to base your vision on them. The box will be crafted with care by Roy Arthur Blodgett from beautiful old growth redwood or Douglas fir (your choice, if you have a preference) and will be finished with a mix of natural dark tung oil and citrus solvent.

With time, the copper will form a patina, which is part of the magic of the material! If desired, you can lightly buff the metal with very fine grade steel wool to bring some of the shine back to the high parts of the relief imagery. This will increase the depth and contrast of the images. These boxes age well!
